Career counselling in secondary schools and the behaviour of graduates joining the labour market in the district of Znojmo

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je rozdělena na dvě části, a to na část teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na strukturu školství v ČR. Jsou zde definovány jednotlivé stupně vzdělávání a popis náplně kariérového poradenství. Poslední část se zabývá trhem práce, nezaměstnaností, úřadem práce a tím, jaké studenti mohou využít služby úřadu práce po absolvování střední školy. Praktická část je věnována vlastnímu dotazníkovému šetření a zkoumá, zda studenti využívají služeb výchovného poradce na škole a zda jsou dostatečně připraveni na vstup na trh práce.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is divided into two parts: a theoretical and a practical one. The theoretical part focuses on the education system in the Czech Republic; Career counselling methods and all the educational stages are described in this section. Moreover, the labour market, unemployment and public employment services are discussed there, as well as how students can make use of the public employment services after finishing their secondary education. The practical part aims at the survey conducted. It concentrates on whether the students take advantage of the educational consultant guidance and whether they are ready to enter the labour market.
