Bankový sektor prešiel v posledných rokoch obrovskými zmenami od privatizácie bánk, cez vstup zahraničného kapitálu až po celkovú reštrukturalizáciu jednotlivých bánk. V rámci reštrukturalizácie a snahy o poskytovanie čo najkvalitnejších služieb sa banky rozhodli pre cestu segmentácie svojich klientov a vytvorenie vkladových a úverových produktov šitých na mieru pre jednotlivé segmenty.
