Possibilities of applying management methods in crisis management

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je věnována problematice možnosti uplatnění metod řízení v krizovém řízení se zaměřením na rozhodování. V první části práce jsou objasněna teoretická východiska vztahující se k předmětné problematice manažerských metod u orgánu krizového řízení. Praktická část se zaměřuje na seznámení s danou problematikou, která pojednává o činnosti krizového manažera a je zde dále zakomponována komparace mezi zahraničními studiemi řízení v krizovém řízení a současným stavem řízení u orgánu krizového řízení. Následně jsou v praktické části s využitím dotazníkového šetření a metody SWOT analýzy posouzeny nejvýznamnější aspekty problematiky zaměřené na rozhodování, krizové řízení a využití softwarové podpory u orgánu krizového řízení. Finální kapitola praktické části je zaměřena na vytvoření návrhu začlenění manažerských metod do činnosti orgánů krizového řízení.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis is devoted to the problem of the possibility of applying management methods in crisis management with a focus on decision-making. In the first part of the thesis the theoretical background related to the subject of management methods in crisis management is explained. The practical part focuses on the introduction to the subject matter, which deals with the activities of the crisis manager and there is also a comparison between foreign studies of management in crisis management and the current state of management at the crisis management authority. Subsequently, in the practical part, using a questionnaire survey and the SWOT analysis method, the most important aspects of the issues focused on decision-making, crisis management and the use of software support in crisis management are assessed. The final chapter of the practical part focuses on the development of a proposal for the integration of management methods into the activities of crisis management authorities.
