Problems of urinary tract infections in women.

Abstract:

Úvod: Bakalářská práce problematika infekce močových cest u žen věnuje pozornost zjištění a analýze úrovně povědomí žen v problematice, symptomatologii, diagnostice, léčbě a možné prevenci infekce močových cest. Cíl práce: Cílem bakalářské práce bylo analyzovat úroveň informovanosti žen o problematice infekce močových cest. Zjistit, jak často ženy trpí infekcemi močových cest, jaká preventivní opatření dodržují ve spojitosti s infekcemi močových cest a jaké informace a edukační materiály jsou pro ně přínosné. Tento problém byl zkoumán v kontextu s četností infekcí močových cest u žen a znalostí preventivních opatření žen týkajících se infekce močových cest. Metodika: Soubor tvořilo 105 respondentek. K získání dat byl využit dotazník zpracovaný ve Wordu s následným vytištěním. Dotazníky byly tedy distribuovány osobně nebo skrze pověřené osoby a to v tištěné formě. Bylo také provedeno pilotní šetření na malém množství respondentek. Výsledky: Na základě výsledků bylo prokázáno, že ženy ve velké míře trpí infekcemi močových cest. Z dotazovaných respondentek to bylo 79% žen, které mají osobní zkušenost s infekcí močových cest. Ženy převážně mají znalosti týkající se prevence infekce močových cest. 55% dotazovaných žen, ale přijdou poskytované informace nedostačující a ocenily by více informací týkající se hlavně prevence infekce močových cest. Závěr: Infekce močových cest je jedno z nejčastějších onemocnění u žen. Tudíž je v zájmu každé ženy předcházet tomuto onemocnění a znát preventivní a léčebná opatření týkající se tohoto onemocnění.

Abstract:

Introduction: The bachelor's thesis on the issue of urinary tract infection in women pays attention to the detection and analysis of the level of awareness of women in the issue, symptomatology, diagnosis, treatment and possible prevention of urinary tract infection. Objective of the thesis: The aim of the bachelor's thesis was to analyze the level of awareness of women about the issue of urinary tract infection. To find out how often women suffer from urinary tract infections, what preventive measures they follow in connection with urinary tract infections and what information and educational materials are beneficial for them. This issue was examined in the context of urinary tract infection rates in women and women's knowledge of urinary tract infection prevention measures. Methodology: The file consisted of 105 female respondents. A questionnaire prepared in Word with subsequent printing was used to obtain data. Questionnaires were therefore distributed personally or through authorized persons in printed form. A pilot survey was also conducted on a small number of female respondents. Results: Based on the results, it was proven that women suffer from urinary tract infections to a large extent. Of the interviewed respondents, 79% were women who have personal experience with a urinary tract infection. Women mostly have knowledge about urinary tract infection prevention. 55% of the interviewed women, however, think the information provided is insufficient and would appreciate more information mainly related to the prevention of urinary tract infections. Conclusion: Urinary tract infection is one of the most common diseases in women. Therefore, it is in the interest of every woman to prevent this disease and to know the preventive and treatment measures related to the disease.
