Motivation of teachers of vocational subjects and practical teaching for further education

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce popisuje problematiku dalšího vzdělávání a motivaci učitelů od-borných předmětů a praktického vyučování. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části, teo-retickou a praktickou. První část popisuje ukotvení dané problematiky v zákoně a je zaměřena na seznámení a popis základních klíčových pojmů. V souvislostech jsou charakterizovány pojmy celoživotní vzdělávání, další vzdělávání pedagogic-kých pracovníků, motivace a pojmy spojené s danou problematikou. V praktické části je prezentován výzkum provedený pomocí analýzy a sběru dat formou kvan-titativního dotazníkového šetření, z něhož vyplývá závěr, jak jsou učitelé oborných předmětů v dnešní době motivováni k dalšímu vzdělávání.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of further education, professional devel-opment and motivation of teachers in specialized subject areas and practical teaching. The thesis is divided into two parts; theoretical and practical. The first part describes the legislation of the given issue and it is focused on terminology and description of basic key terms which are associated with this subject area. Key terms evident in the context of this text include life-long learning, further education of pedagogical staff, continuing professional development, motivation and concepts associated with the issue. In the practical part, the research is car-ried out by means of analysis and collection of quantitative questionnaire data to its conclusion of how teachers of specialized subjects are currently motivated to further develop professionally in the city of Brno.
