Seniors and the issue of searching for information on the Internet

Abstract:

V bakalářské práci „Senioři a problematika vyhledávání informací na internetu“ se věnujeme vzděláváním seniorů v oblasti vyhledávání informací na internetu se zaměřením na vyhledávač Seznam.cz. Na začátku práce si vymezíme pojmy jako senior, stáří a stárnutí, změny ve stáří a také obor, který se vzděláváním seniorů zabývá. Po těchto kapitolách si popíšeme specifika vzdělávání seniorů. Dále pokračujeme částí zabývající se postojem lektora ke vzdělávání seniorů a definováním jeho kompetencí. V další části práce se věnujeme didaktickým metodám a možnostem přístupů k vedení výuky. V poslední kapitole se zaměříme na fenomén vyhledávání informací a podíváme se na strategie a metody, které se používají pro vyhledávání informací na Seznamu a jiných vyhledávačích. Výsledkem naší práce je metodický materiál pro kvalifikované knihovnice a knihovníky, kteří se zabývají vzděláváním seniorů.

Abstract:

In the bachelor's thesis "Seniors and the issue of searching for information on the Internet", we focus on educating seniors in the field of searching for information on the Internet with a focus on the Seznam.cz search engine. At the beginning of the work, we define terms such as senior, old age and aging, changes in old age and also the field that deals with the education of seniors. After these chapters we will describe the specifics of senior education. We continue with the part dealing with the attitude of the lecturer to the education of seniors and the definition of his competencies. In the next part of the work we deal with didactic methods and possibilities of approaches to teaching management. In the last chapter, we will focus on the phenomenon of information retrieval and look at the strategies and methods that are used to search for information on the List and other search engines. The result of our work is methodical material for qualified librarians who are engaged in the education of seniors.
