Typology of Visitors in a Tourism Destination

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na typologii návštěvníků v destinaci cestovního ruchu – Praze. Po celkové analýze typologie návštěvníků v destinaci cestovního ruchu, jsou navrženy opatření a doporučení pro zlepšení rozvoje cestovního ruchu v destinaci. Důraz je kladen i na zefektivnění dopravy, zlepšení infrastruktury a parkování ve městě. Práce se skládá z textové části, analytické části, z části s poznatky a výstupy, závěrem a z příloh. Výstupy analýzy naznačují, že mnozí turisté zůstávají v Praze maximálně 2 dny, což naznačuje možnost prodloužení pobytů prostřednictvím pobídek a slevových programů. Výstupy dále naznačují, že různé věkové skupiny mají odlišné preference, což by mohlo být využito při cílení marketingových strategií a vylepšování nabízených služeb Mezi přílohy jsou zařazeny jednotlivé otázky z dotazníkového šetření, který byl distribuován na sociálních sítích a v recepci hotelu.

Abstract:

This bachelor dissertation is focused on typology of in a tourism – Prague. After an overall analysis of the visitor typology in the tourism destination, measures and recommendations are proposed to improve tourism development in the destination. Emphasis is also placed on improving transport efficiency, infrastructure, and parking in the city. The thesis consists of a text section, an analytical section, a findings and outputs section, a conclusion, and appendices. The findings of the analysis suggest that many tourists stay in Prague for a maximum of 2 days, suggesting the possibility of extending stays through incentives and discount programs. The findings also suggest that different age groups have different preferences, which could be used to target marketing strategies and improve the services offered. The appendices include individual questions from the survey, which was distributed on social media and at the hotel reception.
