The concept of youth subcultures and the lifestyle of their members.

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá pojetím mládežnických subkultur a životního stylu jejich příslušníků, práce se skládá ze dvou částí, teoretické a praktické. Teoretická část práce je rozdělena do tří hlavních kapitol a několika dalších podkapitol. V první kapitole jsou vysvětleny základní pojmy, které úzce souvisí s pojetím subkultury mládeže a životního stylu. Druhá kapitola objasňuje pubescenci a adolescenci jako specifické vývojové období, sociální znevýhodnění, sociální vyloučení a vývojové zvláštnosti mládeže. Ve třetí kapitole jsou charakterizovány vybrané subkultury mládeže. Praktická část je zaměřena na kvantitativní šetření, metodou dotazníků. Dotazník je zaměřen na označení skupiny obyvatel jako subkulturu, postoj skupin obyvatel, vztah společnosti, míra adaptace a dlouhodobější soužití s označenými skupinami obyvatel. Hlavní část práce je interpretace získaných dat. Cílem této práce je zjistit, které skupiny obyvatel jsou považovány za subkultury, jaké k nim společnost zaujímá postoje a vztahy. Jaká je adaptace a soužití subkultur s majoritní společností.

Abstract:

Bachelor´s thesis deals with the concept of youth subcultures and lifestyle of their members, the thesis consists of two parts, theoretical and practical. Theoretical part is divided into three main chapters and several subchapters. In the first chapter are explained basic terms, which are closely related to the concept of youth subculture and lifestyle. The second chapter, clarifies pubescence and adolescence as a specific developmental period, social disadvanage, social excluding and developmental particularities of youth. In the third chapter, are characterised selected youth subcultures. Practical part is focused on quantitative survey, by questionaire method. The questionaire is focused on designation of subpopulation as a subculture, the attitude of subpopulation, rapport of society, the rate of adaptation and long-term coexistance with designed subpopulation. The main part of thesis is interpretation of obtained data. The aim of this thesis is to determine which subpopulations are considered to be subcultures, what the attitude and rapport of society is to them. How the adaptation and coexistence of subcultures with the major society.
