The genetic method of teaching reading and its application in school practice

Abstract:

Předkládaná diplomová práce se zabývá genetickou metodou výuky čtení a její aplikací ve školní praxi. Teoretická část je rozpracována do čtyř kapitol. V první z nich se práce zabývá dítětem mladšího školního věku, konkrétně nástupem do školy a stránkami zralosti dítěte. Druhá kapitola popisuje fyziologii čtení, proces a strategie, také vymezuje čtenářskou gramotnost. Ve třetí části se práce zabývá výukou čtení na počátku školní docházky, zmiňuje metody počátečního čtení i psaní. Čtvrtá kapitola je věnována genetické metodě čtení. V praktické části je prezentován výzkum, který se zabýval kvalitou zkušeností vybrané skupiny učitelek, které vyučovaly genetickou metodou čtení v 1. ročníku ZŠ. Závěry výzkumu sdělují pozitivní zkušenosti a spokojenost učitelek s uvedenou metodou.

Abstract:

The present thesis deals with the genetic method of teaching reading and its application in school practice. The theoretical part is devided into four chapters. In first, the paper deals with a child of younger school age, namely the beginning of the school attendance and school maturity of the child. The second chapter describes the physiology of the reading, its process and strategy, and then also defines reading literacy. The third part deals with the teaching of reading in early school attendance and mentions the method of initial reading and writing. The fourth chapter is devoted to the genetic method of reading. In practical part is presented the survey, which deals with the quality of the experiences of a selected group of teachers which practiced genetic methods in the 1st year of primary school. Conclusions of research communicate a positive experience and satisfaction of teachers with this method.
