Violence among Young People and Other Forms of Risky Behavior at Schools

Abstract:

V diplomové práci se zabývám šikanou na základní škole 2. stupně. Zobrazuji šikanu z celkového pohledu. Uvádím typologii oběti i agresorů, jejich možné útoky a vliv projeveného násilí na oběť, na přihlížející, ale také na samotného agresora. Dále se věnuji stádiím šikany. Rovněž se zmiňuji o institucích, které se šikanou nebo jejími následky zabývají a kam se oběť má možnost obrátit pro pomoc. Nezbytnou součástí je také náhled na samotnou léčbu šikany a preventivní opatření. Ze zjištěných informací vyhotovuji dotazníky pro pedagogy i pro žáky vytipované základní školy v Karlovarském kraji. Stanovuji hypotézy, které porovnávám s vyhodnocenými dotazníky. Požádala jsem rovněž dotčené organizace k vyjádření názoru na šikanu. Vymezuji si vztah k vysloveným hypotézám a uzavírám shrnutím ke zjištěnému. V závěru uvádím rovněž možná doporučení, na základě výsledků výzkumu.

Abstract:

My dissertation deals with bullying in elementary school. I display bullying from the whole view. I present a typology of the victim and the aggressors, their possible attacks and the effect of the violence on the victim, to the onlookers but also to the aggressor himself. I also deal with the stages of bullying. I mention further the institutions that deal with bullying or its consequences and where the victim has the opportunity to turn for help. An essential part is also an insight into the treatment of bullying and preventive measures. From the information obtained, I compiled questionnaires for teachers and for pupils of the selected primary school in the Karlovy Vary region. I set hypotheses, which I compare with the evaluated questionnaires. I also asked the organizations concerned to comment on bullying. I define the relationship to the stated hypotheses and conclude with a summary of the findings. Finally, I also make possible recommendations, based on the results of the research.
