Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá návrhem architektury založené na mikroslužbách v tradičně nastavené organizaci. Provádění změn ve fungující organizaci je náročné, protože vyžaduje systematické pochopení mnoha nehmotných aspektů, jako je například kultura organizace. Cílem diplomové práce je pochopit problematiku zkoumáním operačního kontextu a identifikováním problémů vzniklých při průniku tradičního a nového způsobu myšlení. Práce také jde nad rámec samotného návrhu architektury a studuje související koncepce a trendy v oblasti podnikového IT, aby lépe porozumět motivaci za základními myšlenkami mikroslužeb.Provedený kvalitativní výzkum je zaměřen na poskytnutí strukturovaného systematického pohledu na problematiku a určení oblastí v rámci organizace, které mohou vyžadovat nové uspořádání. Představuje teoretické koncepty a řešení, která mohou pomoct odborníkům efektivně řešit problémy mikroslužeb v praxi. Výsledná teorie může také sloužit jako výchozí bod pro kritické zhodnocení připravenosti prostředí organizace pro přijetí architektury založené na mikroslužbách.Keywords

Abstract:

The thesis studies the adoption of microservices’ architectural style, in the setting of traditional enterprise organization. Making changes to a working organization is challenging, as it requires systematic understanding of multiple intangible aspects, like organizational culture. The thesis aims to get understanding of the problematics, by exploring the operating context and identifying the issues arising with the intersection of the traditional and the new way of thinking. It also goes beyond the architectural style itself and studies the related concepts and trends in enterprise IT, to better understand the motivations behind the core ideas of microservices.The conducted qualitative research is focused to provide a structured systematic view of the problematics and identify the areas of organization that may require alignment. It outlines theoretical concepts and solutions that may help managers and practitioners efficiently address challenges of microservices in practice. The resultant theory may also serve as a starting point for the critical assessment of the readiness of the organizational environment for microservices adoption.
