Social service for mentally ill people in Pardubice

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se věnuje vymezení pojmů sociální služby, poskytovatel sociálních služeb, uživatel, duševní onemocnění. V práci jsou zmíněna rovněž stigmata zabraňující lidem s duševní poruchou v zařazení do běžného života. Zdůrazněna je úloha rodiny a blízkého okolí v životě člověka s touto diagnózou. Blíže se práce zabývá péčí o duševní zdraví z pohledu mezinárodního i záměry České republiky v této oblasti. Následně rozebírá cíle konkrétních organizací zabývajících se touto problematikou v Pardubicích, městě s rozvinutou sítí sociálních služeb. V práci jsou uvedeny organizace a instituce, které se zde věnují službám pro občany s duševním onemocněním. Kvalitativní výzkum se zaměřuje na posouzení této nabídky i využívání nabízených sociálních služeb občany z Pardubic, popřípadě i širšího okolí. O rozhovor byli požádání experti na tuto problematiku, kteří pracují výhradně s klienty s duševní poruchou, ale i ti, kteří poskytují služby vedle duševně nemocných i osobám s jiným druhem postižení. Nechybí názory lidí, kteří sami na sobě poznali, co je to duševní onemocnění, jak se s ním lze vyrovnat a ještě poskytovat sociální služby dalším osobám s touto poruchou.

Abstract:

This bachelor project pays attention to defining of the ideas of social service, the provider of the welfare, the user of it and mental disorder. The stigmas which impede people with mental defects to become integrated in common life are mentioned here.The role of a family and close people for the people with this diagnosis is underlined. The project engages in the care of mental health with the international point of view and with the intention of the Czech Republic in this sphere. Subsequently it analyses aims of the concrete organizations which work on these problems in Pardubice, the town with a large and wide net of social welfare. In this project organizations and institutions, that devote to the problems of mentally ill people, are mentioned. The qualitative research focuses on the review of this offer and utilization of it by the citizens of Pardubice and the nearest surroundings. Experts, who work especially with the clients with mental defects and others, who provide services not only to mentally ill people but to people with different disabilities, were asked for the interview. There are opinions of people who were ill and know quite well what these disorders are. They know how to cope with it and even how to help other ill people and provide them social services.
