Parental Control of youth's Leisure Time as a Educational Problem at the Present

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou rodičovského dohledu nad volným časem jejich dětí. Zaměřuje se konkrétně na děti, které rodiče přivedli kvůli jejich problematickému chování ve škole nebo doma až do ambulantního oddělení Střediska výchovné péče v Děčíně, kde autorka vykonává funkci speciálního pedagoga etopeda. V teoretické části je vysvětlen pojem volný čas z pohledu nejenom renomovaných odborníků, ale také z pohledu rodičů dětí. V další části je diskutováno o výchově ke správnému využívání volného času dětí, a jakou roli v tom hraje samotný osobní příklad rodičů a jejich postoje k volnočasovým aktivitám jejich dětí. Výzkum, který byl na toto téma realizován, ukazuje, jaký obrovský význam má pro správný vývoj dítěte to, jak se rodiče staví k jeho potřebám, kolik času věnují svému dítěti a jak mu pomáhají naplňovat jeho volný čas.

Abstract:

The master thesis deals with the issue of parental supervision over their children's free time. It focuses specifically on the children, whose parents brought them because of their problematic behaviour at school or at home to the outpatient department of the Centre of educational care in Děčín, where the author performs the function (the role) of the special pedagogue etoped. The theoretical part explains the notion of leisure time not only from the experts' point of view but also from the perspective of parents. The next part is concerned with education to the proper use of free time of children and with the role of what plays the personal example of parents and their attitudes towards leisure activities of their children. Research carried out on this subject shows how great im-portance for proper development of children has parents' attitudes to their needs, the time they devote to them and how they help them to fill their free time.
