Tato práce se zabývá historií imigrace Čechů a Poláků do Spojených Států Amerických na přelomu 19. a 20. století. Práce je rozdělena do pěti kapitol. První kapitola obsahuje analýzu samotné imigrace a její metafory. Druhá kapitola poskytuje historii imigrace do Spojených Států. The bachelor thesis deals with the history of immigration of Czechs and Poles to the United States at the turn of the century. The thesis is divided into five chapters. The first chapter contains the analysis and metaphors of immigration. The second chapter provides the history of immigration to the United States.
