Abstract:
Předmětem bakalářské práce je dílo od Adrieny Šimotové „Extatická postava“, které bylo v roce 2004 použito pro nový symbolický oltář kostela sv. Anny na Starém Městě v Praze. Snažím se postihnout vznik díla i následnou instalaci, která spočívá ve skloubení historického, původně sakrálního, prostoru a současného umění. Velkou pozornost věnuji zejména námětu a nově nabyté symbolické funkci díla.
Abstract:
A subject of this thesis is „Ecstatic Figure“, a work by Adriena Šimotová chosen in 2004 as part of the new symbolic altar in the church of st. Anne in the Old Town, Prague. It aims to describe the creation and subsequent installation, which integrates Gothic space and contemporary art. It mostly focuses on the motive and the newly gained symbolic function of the work.
