Consquences of caring for a sick child on the mother´s health.

Abstract:

Tato práce se zaměřuje na proces vstupu nemoci do života dítěte a jeho matky. Na téma péče o nemocné dítě nahlížím jako na celoživotní proces, který ovlivňuje zdraví matky po všech stránkách. Cílem práce je popsat zkušenosti ze vstupu nemoci do života matky, příčiny a důsledky na zdraví matky nemocného dítěte. V této práci usiluji o nalezení odpovědi na otázku, jak matky nemocného dítěte reflektují zkušenost s nemocí, která vstoupila do života dítěte. Pro naplnění cíle práce jsem zvolila kvalitativní metodu narativního rozhovoru s pěti komunikačními partnerkami.

Abstract:

This thesis focuses on the process of entry of disease into the life of a child and his mother. On the subject of care for a child, I see as a lifelong process that affects the mother's health in all aspects. The aim of the work is to describe the experience of the mother's illness, the causes and consequences of mother's ill health. In this work, I seek to find answers to the question as to how mothers of a sick child reflect an experience with the disease that entered the child's life. To achieve the goal I chose a qualitative method of narrative interview with five communication partners.
