Integrated Topics in Education at Secondary School

Abstract:

Diplomová práce „Integrovaná témata ve výuce na základní škole“ se zabývá možností využití integrovaných přírodovědných témat při výuce v 8. a 9. ročníku základní školy. Teoretická část se věnuje vymezení základních pojmů a východisek pro zpracování učiva vybraných tematických celků. Praktická část je sestavena z jednotlivých modulů k integrovaným tematickým celkům „Strom“ a „Jako med“, ve kterých jsou využity prvky badatelsky orientované výuky, integrované tematické výuky, problémové výuky, aktivizačních metod a inovativních přístupů. Součástí každého modulu je příprava, průběh realizace, metodické poznámky a reflexe realizované výuky. Vybraná integrovaná témata vychází ze vzdělávací oblasti Člověk a příroda, vhodným způsobem využívají mezipředmětových vztahů a propojují vyučovací předměty a vzdělávací oblasti.

Abstract:

The master dissertation “Integrated Topics in Education at Secondary School” deals with the possibility of using integrated topics in natural sciences education of the eighth and ninth grades at secondary school. The theoretical part focuses on the definition of the basic terms and the foundations for the content adaptation to the chosen thematic units. The practical part consists of component modules of the inte-grated thematic units “Tree” and “Like Honey” which use elements of inquiry-based education, integrated thematic instruction, problem solv-ing, activation methods and innovative approaches. Each module com-prises of the planning, description of its implementation, methodologi-cal comments and the final reflection on the lessons. The chosen inte-grated topics follow on the education area “Man and Nature”. They use cross-curricular relations appropriately and connect subjects and edu-cation areas.
