Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na analýzu postojů a názorů učitelů a rodičů žáků na odměny a tresty jako výchovné prostředky. V teoretické části diplomové práce byla provedena klasifikace odměn a trestů, zmíněna důležitost rodiny ve výchově, zmapována problematika spolupráce rodiny a školy při výchovně vzdělávacím procesu, tak jak uvádějí příslušné literární prameny. Cílem našeho výzkumného šetření bylo zjistit, jak se učitelé dívají na užití trestů v běžné školní praxi, zda souhlasí či nesouhlasí s tělesnými tresty, jaké formy odměn u svých žáků praktikují a také zjistit frekvenci užití těchto výchovných prostředků. Dále bylo naším cílem porovnat jejich postoje a stanoviska s názory rodičů, protože kvalitní spolupráce rodiny a školy je podle našeho názoru ve výchovně vzdělávacím procesu velmi důležitým předpokladem. Pro nalezení shod, podobností a rozdílů v otázkách výchovy u učitelů a rodičů žáků a pro jejich analýzu byla v empirické části použita nestandardizovaná dotazníková metoda. Tento nástroj byl zvolen za účelem získání prvotních vlastních zkušeností s tvorbou zcela nového dotazníku. K volbě metody jsme byli dále motivováni možností vyzkoušet si, jaká úskalí mohou nastat při formulaci položek, jaká všechna hlediska by zde měla být zohledněna, abychom z dotazníku získali co nejvíce informací vztahujících se k námi vybranému tématu. Výzkumný soubor tvořilo čtyřicet učitelů základní školy a dvacet rodičovských párů, rodičů žáků třetí třídy základní školy.

Abstract:

The thesis is predicated on teachers and parents opinions and attitudes when dealing with issues of punishment and reward as formative tools for children in schools. In the theoretical part of the thesis, a classification of rewards and punishments has been made and the importance of family mentioned. As stated in relevant literary sources, we identified issues in cooperation between family and school during the educational and formative process. The objective of our research is to find out the opinions of teachers and parents regarding the use of punishment as a common practice in school. We wanted to know, whether the teachers agree to the use of corporal punishments or not, what forms of punishments and rewards they prefer and under what circumstances and how often they might be used. Another objective was to draw a comparison between the views of teachers and parents because the cooperation between family and school is very important when addressing the development of children. A non standardized method of questioning was used to find compliance, similarities and differences in upbringing. This tool was chosen to acquire my own experience in creating a completely new questionnaire for the first time. Another motivation to choose this method was to see what pitfalls we might encounter during the creation of questionnaire. Also, we wanted to know what different criteria should be observed to get as much information as possible out of the questionnaire relative and most significant to our chosen topic. The research group consisted of 40 teachers and an equal number of parents, whose children attended the third year of primary school.
