Project to Improve the Manufacturing Process in Chip Manufacturing

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na zlepšení výrobního procesu ve výrobě čipů ve společnosti ONSEMI. Cílem práce je za pomocí projektu a procesních experimentů zlepšit vybraný vyráběný čip a snížit zmetkovitost výrobků z důvodu vyskytující se snížené výtěžnosti. Tato diplomová práce je rozdělená na dvě části. V teoretické části je vypracována literární rešerše zaměřená na problematiku vybraných procesů výroby čipů, používání informačních systému ve výrobě čipů a statistických metod ověřování kvality procesu. Dále je definován projekt a jeho formální náležitosti. V praktické části je podrobněji představena společnost, specifické pracoviště a podnikové procesy výroby čipů. Za pomocí podrobné analýzy po sběru dat je identifikována příčina snížené výtěžnosti. Na základě vypracovaného projektu s výslednými experimenty je navrženo řešení pro zlepšení výrobního procesu vyráběného čipu a jeho implementace do pracovního předpisu.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis is focused on the improvement of the production process in chip production at ONSEMI. The aim of the work is to improve the selected manufactured chip with the help of the project and process experiments and to reduce the scrap rate of the products due to the occurring reduced yield. This thesis is divided into two parts. In the theoretical part, a literature search is prepared, focused on the issues of selected chip production processes, the use of information systems in chip production, and statistical methods of process quality verification. Next, the project and its requirements are defined. In the practical part, the company, specific workplace, and business processes of chip production are presented in more detail. With the help of detailed analysis after data collection, the cause of the reduced yield is identified. Based on the developed project with the resulting experiments, a solution is proposed for improving the production process of the welding chip and its implementation into the work regulations.
