Flexibility of the Czech Labour Market

Abstract:

Diploma Thesis „Flexibility of the Czech Labour Market“ is focused on the labour market flexibility. Objective of the diploma thesis is analysis of the Czech labour market in terms of using flexible employment forms or organisation of working time and employment protection, comparison of the situation in other European Union Member States and subsequent formulation of acceptable economic and political arrangements. The first part of the diploma thesis, which is the basis for the construction of the practical part of the diploma thesis, is theoretical and it is concerned with definition of the term flexibility. Next two parts of the diploma thesis are practical. By means of the Basic Linear Regression Model the impact of using selected flexible employment forms on the unemployment rate is tested in the conditions of the Czech labour market.

Abstract:

Diplomová práca s názvom „Flexibilita trhu práce v ČR“ sa zaoberá problematikou flexibility pracovného trhu. Predmetom práce je analýza českého pracovného trhu z hľadiska využívania flexibilných foriem zamestnania, resp. organizácie pracovnej doby a ochrany zamestnanosti, komparácia s krajinami Európskej únie a následná formulácia vhodných hospodársko – politických opatrení. Teoretická časť práce, ktorá je východiskom pre konštruovanie časti praktickej, je tvorená prvou kapitolou. Tá sa zaoberá definovaním pojmu flexibilita. Praktickú časť tvoria zvyšné dve kapitoly. Pomocou základného lineárneho regresného modelu je testovaný vplyv využívania vybraných flexibilných foriem zamestnania na mieru nezamestnanosti v podmienkach českého trhu práce.
