Family support during a pandemic

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na podporu rodin s dětmi v období pandemie v České republice a ve vybraných zemích EU, konkrétně v Německu, Rakousku, Francii a Itálii. V práci je popsán systém sociálního zabezpečení z hlediska podpory rodin v těchto státech. Dále byly představeny změny, které zavedly státy v období pandemie, tedy od jara 2020 až do podzimu 2021. Na základě rešerše literatury a rozhovoru s pracovníkem Ministerstva práce a sociálních věcí byl zhodnocen dopad změn v podpoře rodin s dětmi v období pandemie v České republice a srovnán se zahraničím.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis focuses on the support of families with children during the pandemic in the Czech Republic and in selected EU coun-tries, specifically in Germany, Austria, France and Italy. The thesis de-scribes the social security system from the point of view of supporting families in these states. Furthermore, the changes introduced by the states during the pandemic period, i.e. from spring 2020 to autumn 2021, were presented. Based on a literature search and an interview with an employee of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, the im-pact of changes in support for families with children during the pan-demic period in the Czech Republic was evaluated and compared with other European countries.
