Abstract:
Práce se zabývá žánrem populární hudby obecně nazývaným "no wave". Tento žánr vznikl ve druhé polovině 70. let 20. století v New Yorku jako subžánr hnutí punk a jako takový je v práci vysvětlován ve svém kulturním a hudebním kontextu. Rovněž je zkoumán vliv, který měl žánr na další vývoj populární hudby.
Abstract:
The thesis deals with a popular music genre generally referred to as "No Wave". The genre arose in the late 1970s in New York as a subgenre of the punk movement and as such it is explained in its cultural and musical context. Also, its influence upon subsequent development of popular music is examined.
