Aesthetic education students with mental disability

Abstract:

Tato práce popisuje možnosti žáků s mentálním postižením v oblasti estetické výchovy, která má podobu mimoškolních zájmových aktivit. Dívá se na tuto problematiku očima rodičů. Teoretická část popisuje co je mentální postižení, její definici, etiologii, klasifikaci a zvláštnosti v oblasti psychiky, co je estetická výchova, její historii, cíle, prostředky, funkci a specifika pro žáky s mentálním postižením a v kterých oblastech života se s estetickou výchovou můžeme setkat, popisuje jednotlivé věkové období, estetickou výchovu mimo školu a speciálně pedagogické terapie. Praktická část využívá průzkumných metod dotazníku a rozhovoru, k zjištění možností zájmových činností z pohledu rodičů.

Abstract:

This thesis describes the possibility of an engagement of students with mental disability in the field of aesthetic education, which takes the form of after-school interest activities. The topic is being discussed from the parent?s point of view. The theoretical part describes what is mental disability, its definition, etiology, classification and specialities in the area of a psyche, what is the aesthetic education, its history, objectives, resources, and a specific function for children with the mental disability and in which areas of life, can the aesthetic education be found , describes the various age periods, the aesthetic education outside the school and a special educational therapy. The practical part uses exploratory methods of a questionnaire and an interview to determine possible interest activities from the parent?s perspective.
