The role of tax savings when selecting the financial products by natural person

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá významem daňové úspory u finančních produktů nabízených na tuzemském trhu. Práce se zabývá daňovou úsporou při uzavírání, trvání a rušení smlouvy. Cílem diplomové práce bylo zjistit, do jaké míry ovlivňuje úspora na dani z příjmů fyzických osob klienta při výběru finančního produktu. V diplomové práci je použito dotazníkové šetření. K vyhodnocení dotazníkového šetření byly použity statistické metody, zejména chí-kvadrát. Výsledky ukázaly, že daňová úspora není prvním faktorem ovlivňujícím respondenta při výběru finančního produktu. Dále došlo ke zjištění, že svou neinformovaností se respondenti připravují o daňovou úsporu ve výši až 13 500 Kč ročně.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis addresses the importance of tax savings generated by financial products offered on the domestic market. More specifically, it deals with tax savings generated in connection with entering into as well as with the duration and termination of contracts or agreements. The aim of this thesis is to determine the extent to which any savings on personal income tax influence clients' selection of a financial product. For these purposes, a questionnaire survey has been used and its results have been analysed and evaluated using statistical methods, in particular the chi-squared test. The results have shown that tax savings do not present the most important factor influencing respondents in their selection of a financial product. In addition, it has been established that due to their ignorance and lack of information, respondents miss out on the opportunity to achieve tax savings of up to CZK 13 500 per year.
