The understanding of freedom in Hannah Arendt philosophy

Abstract:

V práci se budeme zabývat problémem svobody ve filozofii Hannah Arendtové. Naším cílem bude objasnit a přiblížit pojetí a prvky svobody ve filosofii této významné myslitelky 20. století. V tomto rámci se pokusíme ukázat, jak souvisí svoboda s nejrůznějšími problémy společnosti. Pokusíme se také v tomto kontextu myšlenkově rozvinout reálná nebezpečí hrozící lidstvu, na něž Arendtová upozorňuje, ve vztahu k dnešní době. Smyslem práce nebude navrhnout nějaké řešení, spíše nám půjde o to, aby se tato práce stala podnětem k úvahám a zamyšlením se nad danými problémy v co nejširších souvislostech.

Abstract:

In this work, we are going to deal with the problem of freedom in the philosophy of Hannah Arendt. Our goal will be to explain and bring concepts and elements of freedom in the philosophy of this important thinker of the 20th century. In this framework, we are going to try to show, how is the freedom related to the various social problems. We are going to try also in this context, to intellectually develop real danger to humanity, to which Arendt points out in relation to the present time. The purpose of the work will not suggest a solution, rather it is going to be important to us to make this work became a stimulus for reflection and consideration over the given problems in the broadest context.
