Competitive environment of small brewery

Abstract:

Hlavním cílem mé bakalářské práce je shromáždění a analýza informací o malých pivovarech v západních Čechách. Budu poukazovat především na konkurenční prostředí těchto podniků. V teoretické části jsem využila několika knih a učebnic a důvěryhodných internetových zdrojů. V analytické části jsem věnovala pozornost konkrétnímu konkurenčnímu prostředí malých pivovarů. Zaměřila jsem se na oblast západních Čech. Nejprve jsem zaznamenala historii pivovarnictví obecně a poté jsem vybrala pár pivovarů, které jsem blíže specifikovala. Pro mě nové informace, které by mohly přispět k řešení problemů konkurenčního prostředí, a jejich souhrn jsem sepsala v návrhové části. Abstract:

The main aim of this Bachelor’s Thesis is a presentation of information on small breweries, in particular those located in the Western Bohemia. I will herein refer to the competition environment among these breweries. In the theoretical passage, several books as well as credible internet sources were used. In the analytical passage, I focused on the environment of small breweries, especially those within the region of the Western Bohemia. At first, I mention history of brewing itself; further on, I picked several breweries for more detailed specification. In the proposition passage, I summarized new information potentially contributing to problem solution of the competitive environment. Key words: price, competition, supply, demand, enterprise, brewery, market.
