Vocabulary Level of Preschool Children

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce má teoreticko-empirický charakter. Cílem bakalářské práce je zjistit úroveň slovní zásoby u dětí předškolního věku. V teoretické části sumarizujeme vývoj řeči, komunikaci a slovní zásobu u dětí předškolního věku. V praktické části předkládáme výsledky kvantitativního výzkumu realizovaného prostřednictvím testování. Jsou zde vyhodnoceny výsledky dětí z běžné a logopedické třídy, srovnány výsledky mezi dívkami a chlapci, rozdíly mezi mladšími a staršími dětmi. Ze zjištěných dat vyplynulo, že děti z běžné třídy mateřské školy dosáhly vyšší úrovně slovní zásoby než děti z logopedické třídy a úroveň slovní zásoby u dívek a chlapců jsou vyrovnané.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis has a theoretical-empiric character. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to find out the vocabulary level of preschool children. In the theoretical part we summarize the development of speech, communication and vocabulary level of preschool children. In the practical part we present the results of the quantitative research realized through testing. There are evaluated the results of children from regular and logopedic class, there are compared the results between girls and boys, the differences between younger and older children. These ascertained data show that children from of a regular class in kindergarten classes have a higher vocabulary level than children from a logopedic class and that the vocabulary level of girls and boys is balanced.
