Dark tourism - travelling to abandoned sites

Abstract:

Předložená práce se zabývá okrajovou částí cestovního ruchu, která se nazývá Dark tourism, a jeho součástí, kterou je cestování do opuštěných sídel. V první části je tento fenomén popsán a zhodnocen a je zde uvedena jeho kategorizace. Druhá část práce je zaměřena na samotná opuštěná sídla v Evropě, která jsou v práci popsána a zhodnocena jako cílové destinace Dark tourismu. V další části jsou vytvořeny itineráře pro cestování do vybraných opuštěných sídel v Evropě. V práci jsou také uvedena vybraná opuštěná sídla v Česku, u kterých je predikován budoucí vývoj ve spojitosti s cestovním ruchem.

Abstract:

The diploma tesis deals with peripheral part of travelling called Dark tourism and its part, which is travelling to abandoned sites. The phenomenon is described and judged in the first part of the tesis and also, there is shown it´s categorization. Second part of the tesis is focused on abandoned sites in Europe, which are described and judged as a final destinations of Dark tourism. In the next chapter are created itineraries for travelling to abandoned sites in Europe. In the tesis are also shown chosen abandoned sites in Czech republic, for which is predicted its future development in connection with travelling.
