Faktory ukrajinské migrace do České republiky

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce zkoumá faktory, které vedly k ukrajinské migraci do České republiky, a zabývá se ekonomickými, historickými a sociálními aspekty. Prostřednictvím rozsáhlého přehledu literatury jsou identifikovány klíčové migrační teorie, které jsou aplikovány pro pochopení migračních vzorců. Studie zkoumá trendy v profesní a geografické volbě ukrajinských migrantů, jejich demografické profily a sociální integraci do české společnosti. Pomocí deskriptivní statistiky a regrese časových řad jsou analyzovány faktory, které stojí za ukrajinskou migrací, a pro širší evropskou perspektivu je provedeno srovnání s migračními vzorci ve Španělsku a Itálii. Ačkoli zjištění obecně odpovídají neoklasické teorii, některé rozpory naznačují potřebu dalšího výzkumu, který by potvrdil převládající push faktory. Výzkum přispívá k diferencovanému pohledu na migrační vzorce a nabízí důsledky pro politické intervence v České republice, na Ukrajině i mimo ni.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis examines the factors driving Ukrainian migration to the Czech Republic, delving into economic, historical, and social dimensions. Through a comprehensive literature review, key migration theories are identified and applied to understand migration patterns. The study investigates trends in Ukrainian migrants' occupational and geographical choices, demographic profiles, and social integration in the Czech society. Using descriptive statistics and time series regression, the pull and push factors behind Ukrainian migration are analyzed, with comparisons drawn to migration patterns in Spain and Italy for a broader European perspective. While findings generally align with neoclassical theory, some contradictions suggest the need for further research to validate predominant push factors. The research contributes to nuanced insights into migration patterns and offers implications for policy interventions in the Czech Republic, Ukraine, and beyond.
