Obezita je jedním z celosvětově nejrozšířenějších onemocnění a začíná svým rychlým šířením nabývat epidemických rozměrů. Obezita je multifaktoriální metabolická porucha způsobená vyšším energetickým příjmem než výdejem. Obesity is one of the world's most prevalent and widespread diseases with almost epidemic proportions. Obesity is a multifactorial metabolic disorder that arises when more energy is consumed than expended. The discovery of the sixth taste for fatty acids has brought new knowledge that can be used for studying the pathogenesis of obesity.
