Project Proposal for the Regeneration of Intangible Cultural Heritage in the Territory of the Olomouc District

Abstract:

Kulturní dědictví a jeho ochrana patří v současné moderní době k jednomu ze základních pilířů všech demokratických států na světě. Jedinečnost a autenticita kulturního dědictví má nevyčíslitelnou hodnotu, a proto je zcela zásadní pečovat o jeho ochranu a regeneraci pro budoucí generace. Proto hlavním cílem této diplomové práce bylo navržení projektu vybrané nemovité kulturní památky, který zajistí její regeneraci pro další generace. Za tímto účelem byly v této práci využity metody literární rešerše, tematické kartografie, pozorování a rozhovoru. Na základě metody rozhovoru byla vybrána nemovitá kulturní památky nutná k rekonstrukci, a to konkrétně kostel Narození Panny Marie v Tršicích. Pro tento kostel byl navržen projekt na obnovu fasády kostela, jeho časová a finanční analýza, včetně výběru vhodných dotačních titulů. Díky realizaci navrženého projektu dojde k zatraktivnění tohoto kostela v rámci kulturního cestovního ruchu, a zachování jeho historické a architektonické hodnoty do budoucna.

Abstract:

The cultural heritage, as well as its protection, is today recognized as one of the fundamental pillars of all democratic states in the world. It is difficult, if possible at all, to evaluate in money the uniqueness and authenticity of the cultural heritage. Therefore it is crucial to pay attention to its protection in order to keep its value for next generations. The goal of this diploma thesis is to outline a project that describes principles of keeping the value of a real cultural monument for the future. To efficiently achieve that goal a combination of following methods was applied: literary background research, thematic cartograhpy, observations and interviewing. Based on interviewing methods the Church of the Virgin Mary in Tršice was eventually selected as the most suitable candidate for a rebuild. A regeneration project focused on object facade rebuild was processed as a part of this diplom a thesis. It also includes an overview of a timeline, cost analysis and a recommendation of the most suitable grants. The project, if realized, will help to make this place more attractive in the world of cultural tourism as well as to keep the cultural and historical value of the monument for next generations.
