Abstract:

V této diplomové práci se věnujeme ROC křivkám a plochám. Práce je rozdělena do 7 kapitol. V prvních dvou kapitolách zavedeme postupně pojmy senzitivita a specificita testu a dále ROC křivka a plocha pod ROC křivkou neboli AUC. Třetí, čtvrtá a pátá kapitola pojednává o empirickém, binormálním a jádrovém odhadu ROC křivky. V šesté kapitole se zaměříme na ROC plochu a také na objem pod ROC plochou neboli VUS. Metody použité ke konstrukci ROC křivky aplikujeme v poslední kapitole na reálná data.

Abstract:

In this thesis, we study ROC curves and surfaces. The thesis is divided into seven chapters. In the first two chapters, we introduce the terms: sensitivity, specificity of the test, ROC curve and the area under ROC curve -AUC. The third, fourth and fifth chapters deal with empirical estimation, binormal estimation and kernel estimation of ROC curve. In the sixth chapter, we focus on ROC surface and on the volume under ROC surface - VUS. The methods used for construction are applied in the last chapter to real data.
