Eating healthy means eating expensive? - experimental verification of distorted information processing based on intuition

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá tématem Jíst zdravě znamená jíst draze? - experimentální ověření zkresleného zpracování informací na základě intuice. Cílem této diplomové práce je provést výzkum, který se zabývá primárně vztahy mezi kategorizací zdravé výživy, cenou a označením. Cílem výzkumu je prokázat či vyvrátit existenci vztahu mezi cenou potravin a subjektivním vnímáním jejich prospěchu pro zdraví člověka. Práce je rozdělena do tří častí. Na začátku je provedena literární rešerše, v rámci které jsou vysvětleny jednotlivé pojmy, a je provedena analýza primárních akademických zdrojů za účelem shrnutí současného stavu poznání v této oblasti. Dále následuje metodická část práce, která obsahuje definici výzkumných otázek a design vlastního výzkumu, včetně zvolených výzkumných nástrojů a zvoleného výzkumného vzorku vzhledem k výzkumným otázkám. V praktické části jsou představeny výsledky výzkumného šetření.

Abstract:

This thesis is focused on topic Eating healthy means eating dearly? - experimental verification of distorted information processing based on intuition. The aim of this thesis is to conduct research in terms of primary relationships between the categorization of healthy food, prices and labeling. The aim of the research is to prove or refute the existence of a relationship between food prices and the subjective perception of their benefits for human health. The work is divided into three parts. At the beginning, a literary research is performed, in which the individual concepts are explained, and an analysis of primary academic sources is performed in order to summarize current knowledge of the topic. Then follows the methodological part of the work, which contains the definition of research questions and the design of research, including selected research approaches. The practical part presents the results of the research.
