Předmětem této diplomové práce je kniha Na Větrné hůrce od Emily Brontëové a její české překlady. První část práce se zaměřuje na život a tvorbu sester Brontëových a na překladatele jejich románů. Samostatná kapitola je věnována románu Na Větrné hůrce jeho obsahu, dobovému zasazení a ohlasům a odborné literatuře v českém literárním prostředí. The subject of this diploma thesis is the book Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë and its Czech translations. The first part of the work focuses on the life and work of the Brontë sisters and translators of their novels.
