Possibilities of using LMS Moodle in teaching

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá možnostmi využití systému pro řízení výuky LMS Moodle ve vzdělávacím procesu, zejména na základních školách. Popisuje teoretické základy e-learningu, jeho vývoj, výhody a nevýhody a věnuje se konkrétně platformě Moodle - jejím funkcím, uživatelským rolím a způsobu implementace. Součástí práce je návrh, realizace a testování výukového kurzu zaměřeného na základy programování ve Scratchi. Kurz byl ověřen ve výuce a následně byl vyhodnocen pomocí dotazníku. Výsledky ukazují, že Moodle je efektivním nástrojem pro podporu výuky, který umožňuje individualizaci, zpětnou vazbu a rozvoj algoritmického myšlení.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis explores the possibilities of using the Learning Management System (LMS) Moodle in the educational process, with a focus on primary schools. It presents the theoretical foundations of e-learning, its development, advantages, and disadvantages, and analyses Moodle's features, user roles, and implementation methods. The practical part of the thesis includes the design, development, and testing of a course aimed at introducing the basics of programming in Scratch. The course was tested in a school environment and evaluated through a questionnaire. The findings confirm that Moodle is an effective educational tool that supports personalized learning, feedback, and the development of algorithmic thinking.
