A Business Plan for Nella s Coffee Bistro

Anotace:

The main aim of this bachelor’s thesis is to introduce a brand-new concept of combining a regular coffee shop, healthy food bistro, and cocktail bar all in one place and the secondary aim is to create a business plan for that kind of business (Nella’s Coffee Bistro). This thesis is divided into the theoretical part, the analytical part, and the part concerning summary and proposals. The theoretical part is focused on describing topics like the opening of a new restaurant, the history of gastronomy and bistros, and what is a healthy diet. Another section of the theoretical part is directly focused on the structure of a business plan. The analytical part is composed of the methodology and the actual business plan for Nella’s Coffee Bistro. The chosen methodology to fulfill the aims and research questions: [1) Would this type of business have a good chance of being profitable? 2) Will the locals and tourists appreciate this type of hospitality business in Prague?] was done by creating a questionnaire related to the topic and interviewing three people who are working in the gastronomy industry. Within the summary and proposals part, all findings from the questionnaire and interviews were summarized and evaluated and based on the findings, it was easier to answer the research questions and directly state that there is some possibility that Nella’s Coffee Bistro might be profitable and favorite among the population of Prague in the future.
