Abstract:
Thesis deals with architectural work of Jewish architect Ferdinand Silvan – Silberstein (1902-1983), who created most of his work in the interwar period. Despite surviving the war in Slovakia, political circumstances eventually forced him to emigrate to Australia, where he no longer worked at his own studio. Diplomová práca sa zaoberá dielom architekta židovského pôvodu Ferdinanda Silvana – Silbersteina (1902-1983), ktorý väčšinu svojej tvorby vytvoril v medzivojnovom období. Aj napriek tomu, že celú vojnu prežil na Slovensku, nakoniec ho politické okolnosti donútili k emigrácii do Austrálie, kde už v samostatnom ateliéri naďalej nepracoval.
