Specifics of environmental Education of Pupils at a Special Primary School

Abstract:

Diplomová práce Specifika environmentální výchovy ve vzdělávání žáků na základní škole speciální se zabývá zapojením prvků environmentální výchovy do činností, které jsou zařazovány do výuky na základní škole speciální, a to jak jednorázově, tak v průběhu celého školního roku. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a empirickou. Teoretická část je zaměřena na vysvětlení pojmů, které se váží k tématu environmentální výchovy. Dále se v této části práce zaměřuje na specifika vzdělávacího procesu u žáků se středně těžkým mentálním postižením. Empirická část zahrnuje kvalitativní výzkumné šetření, jehož cílem je zjistit a popsat, jakým způsobem lze aplikovat témata environmentální výchovy do vzdělávacích oblastí a předmětů na základní škole speciální. V této části jsou pak popsány aktivity a činnosti s environmentální tematikou, postup práce a samotný průběh jednotlivých činností. Při zpracování výzkumného šetření bylo využito technik zúčastněného pozorování, přímé práce s žáky a analýzy dokumentace.

Abstract:

The thesis Specifics of environmental education in the education of pupils in a special primary school deals with the inclusion of elements of environmental education in the activities that are included in the teaching in a special primary school, both on a one-off basis and throughout the school year. The thesis is divided into theoretical and empirical parts. The theoretical part is aimed at explaining the concepts related to the topic of environmental education. Furthermore, this part of the thesis focuses on the specifics of the educational process for students with moderate intellectual disabilities. The empirical part includes a qualitative research investigation, which aims to identify and describe how the themes of environmental education can be applied to educational areas and subjects in a special primary school. This part then describes the activities and activities with environmental themes, the workflow and the actual course of the activities. Participant observation techniques, direct work with pupils and analysis of documentation were used in the research investigation.
