Abstract:

Bakalářská práce " Hotelový manažer a náplň jeho práce" je rozdělena do dvou částí - teoretické a praktické . Teoretická část se zabývá požadavky na hotelového manažera , definicemi , klasifikacemi a obtížemi spojenými s manažerskou činností v oblasti pohostinství . Teoretická část se dále zabývá podílem úspěšného manažera na celkovém úspěchu podnikání. Vhled do podstaty manažerské práce spolu s osvětlením různých přístupů k ní, také v kontextu dnešní situace ve světě pohostinství. Zmíněna jsou také úskalí a problémy, se kterými se manažerský personál potýká, a metody doporučené manažerům obecně. Praktická část je založena na analýze průzkumů, které byly prováděny mezi praktikujícími manažery. Praktická část ja zaměřena na profil reálného hotelového manažera, na popis kroků vedoucích ke spokojenosti zákaznika, přístup zaměstnance ke zvým odpovědnostem a na manažerův přístup k vnitřním a vnějším záležitostem. Cílem bakalářské práce je pokusit se přiblížit se otázce efektivního managementu, pochopit, s jakými potížemi se potýká začínající manažer a odhalit principy profesionálního přístupu k managementu v rámci ubytovacího zařízení, jeho metody a strategie a také přístup zaměstnanců.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis “Hotel manager and his part of work” is divided into two parts – theoretical and practical. The theoretical part deals with the hotel manager’s requirements, the definition, classification and difficulties associated with the managerial experience in hospitality. Furthermore, the theoretical part concerns the role of sufficient manager in the overall success of the entrepreneurship. There the work of a hotel manager is explained along with the description of different approaches invented, and the current situation in the hospitality world. Mentioned also are problems which managerial personnel have to deal with and methods recommended for the managers in any sphere. The practical part is based on an analysis of the surveys, fulfilled by real managers. The practical part is focused on the introduction of a real hotel manager’s profile, as well as description of customer’s satisfaction, workers attitude to their responsibilities and manager’s attitude to the inner and outer issues. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to try to come close to the problem of effective management, find out which difficulties beginner managers have during their working experience and uncover professional attitude to managing a lodging facility and also attitude of their employees as well as methods and strategies used.
