Magisterská diplomová práce se zabývá tradicí staročeských májů v okrese Nymburk. Práce se věnuje konkrétním obcím, kde se tradici podařilo udržet a každoročně se zde akce pořádá. Jedná se o Kostomlaty nad Labem a Křinec. Na základě rozhovorů s vedením obce a s organizátory májů je vypracována značná část práce. Master diploma thesis deals with the tradition of Old Bohemian May festivities in the Nymburk District. The work focuses on specific municipalities which managed to keep the tradition and organize it annually. Those municipalities are Kostomlaty nad Labem and Křinec.
