Abstract:

V mé práci se zabývám odpadem a to hledáním jeho místa v našich životech. Způsoby, jak se jako umělec, a ne jen jako on, postavit před celosvětový i lokální problém a upozornit na něj. Zaměřuji se na odpad odložený a skladovaný na chodbách domů, na ten co jsme již vyhodili, ale i na ten co skladujeme ve svých domovech, doufajíce, že se nám jej ještě podaří nějak použít. Zamýšlím se nad pohnutkami lidské mysli, které nás vedou k vyhazování věcí plných vzpomínek a nahrazování je bezduchými ?zaplňovači? prostoru, které jsou vyráběny sériově. Vyrobila jsem tedy z těchto starých odložených věcí, věci nové, které splňují jak dekorativní účel, tak obohacují diváka duševně a nabádají ho k postavení se před odpad čelem.

Abstract:

In my thesis I deal with the waste by searching of its place in our lives. I look into the ways how as an artist, and not just like him, face a global and local problem and point on it. I focus on discarded waste stored in the corridors of houses. The one we have already thrown out, what is more that what is stored in our homes, hoping that we will be able to use it again. I think about the motives of the humand mind that lead us to throwing things full of memories and replace them by soulless ?spacefillers?, which are produced in series. So, that is why I made from these old discarded things, new things, which comply both to decorative purpose and enrich the viewer mentally and urge him to stand face onto the waste.
