Functionality analysis of cost accounting module of the specific ERP system

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na vyhodnocení podpory controllingu čili manažerského účetnictví v ERP systému Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2016. Problematika je řešena analýzou dat fiktivního demo podniku CRONUS CZ, s. r. o. a zároveň analýzou funkcionality modulu nákladového účetnictví zvoleného ERP systému. V návaznosti na analýzy je navržen a realizován praktický příklad demonstrující sestavování nákladových rozpočtů i jejich vyhodnocení, zaúčtování operací nákladového účetnictví podniku a provedení vícestupňových alokací. Výstupem práce je zaprvé vyhodnocení splňování požadavků controllingu modulem nákladového účetnictví ve vybraném ERP systému. Zadruhé práce poskytuje podklady v podobě vygenerovaných sestav a výstřižků oken systému použitelné pro rozšíření výuky předmětu Manažerského účetnictví na Ekonomicko-správní fakultě Masarykovy univerzity.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on evaluating the implementation of controlling, also referred to as management accounting, in the Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2016 ERP system. This topic is approached by conducting an analysis of the data of CRONUS CZ, s. r. o., a fictitious demo company, and by analysing the functionality of the cost accounting module of the ERP system. A practical example comprising cost budget setups and evaluation, cost accounting processes and multi-level cost allocation is designed and executed based on these analyses. Firstly, the results of this thesis evaluate the compliance of the cost accounting module of the specific ERP system with the requirements of controlling. Secondly, this thesis provides supportive material, such as reports and print screens, suitable for demonstration in the Management Accounting course taught at the Faculty of Economics and Administration at Masaryk University.
