Causes of the difference between the magnitude of the AC/A ratio determined by the gradient method and the heterophoric method

Anotácia:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou měření AC/A poměru a jeho rozdílnými hodnotami při využití gradientní a výpočetní metody. V teoretické části práce je popsán význam a možnosti měření akomodace a konvergence. Další část se zabývá samotným AC/A poměrem, jeho měřením, rozdíly a klasifikací. Výzkumná část práce je zaměřena na porovnání velikosti poměru mezi dvěma výše zmíněnými metodami. Prozkoumány jsou také určité možnosti nastavení použitého testu a jejich vliv na velikost konečného AC/A poměru. V diskuzi jsou výsledky výzkumu porovnány se studiemi na podobné téma.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the measurement of AC/A ratio and its different values using gradient and heterophoric methods. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the meaning and possibilities of measuring accommodation and convergence. The next part deals with the AC/A ratio itself, its measurement, differences and classification. The research part of the thesis focuses on the comparison of the magnitude ratio between the two mentioned methods. Certain test setup options used and their ef-fect on the magnitude of the final AC/A ratio are also explored. In the discussion, the research results are compared with studies on a similar topic.
