The awarness of specific professional groups of the possibilities of social assistance for disabled people

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá informovaností vybraných profesních skupin o možnostech sociální pomoci pro lidi s handicapem. Teoretická část se věnuje charakteristice pracovníků pomáhajících profesí, především sociálních pracovníků a zdravotníků, a sociální pomoci směřované osobám s mentálním, tělesným a smyslovým handicapem. Zaměřuji se na dávky sociální péče a sociální služby pro tuto cílovou skupinu. V závěrečné kapitole charakterizuji postižení mentální, tělesné a smyslové. Cílem praktické části, která je zaměřena na komparaci informovanosti sociálních pracovníků a zdravotníků o možnostech sociální pomoci pro lidi s handicapem, je zjistit, jaká je podle nich informovanost obyvatel o sociální pomoci pro lidi se zdravotním postižením a na jaké instituce, odborníky, by se obrátili při řešení problémů s dítětem, dospívajícím se zdravotním handicapem.

Abstract:

The topic of the thesis below intend to raise awarness of specific professional groups about the possibilities of social assistance for disabled people. The theoretical part focuses on the characteristics of care occupation workers, especially social workers, medical staff members, and social assistance such as social benefits, services for people with handicap. Finally, the last chapter describes the mental, physical, visual and hearing disability. The practical part is focused on comparing the awareness of social workers and medical staff members about the possibilities of social assistance for disabled people. The goal is to measure the awareness of the local population. Moreover, the practical part also intends to communicate about the social institutions that are available to take care of disabled children and adolescents with health handicap.
