Diplomová práce se zabývá pravopisem velkých písmen v českém jazyce. První část práce reflektuje historický vývoj zájmu o problematiku a dosavadní stav českého bádání. Druhá část práce se zaměřuje na školní prostředí, kolik prostoru je tématu velkých písmen ve výuce věnováno, jak téma reflektuje RVP G, jaké didaktické pomůcky má učitel tradičně k dispozici a jaké volí metody pro výuku tématu.
