Personality of violent crime perpetrator

Abstract:

Tématem bakalářské práce je osobnost pachatele násilné trestné činnosti. Cílem této práce je tedy podat teoretický rozbor již zmíněného tématu. Práce je rozdělena do čtyř kapitol (násilná kriminalita, psychologické profilování, osobnost pachatele, delikventní mládež). V kapitole o násilné kriminalitě definuji důležité pojmy, zmiňuji některé aspekty násilí, a v závěru kapitoly uvádím zajímavé údaje ze statistik. Ve druhé kapitole se zabývám metodami, které umožňují na základě určitých postupů vytvořit pravděpodobný profil neznámého pachatele a usnadnit tak jeho dopadení. Třetí kapitola se zaměřuje na problematiku osobnosti pachatele. Na začátku kapitoly vymezuji základní pojmy a zmiňuji disciplíny, které se zabývají osobností pachatele. Následuje přehled teorií a typologií osobnosti pachatele od historie až po současnost. Dále uvádím charakteristiky pachatelů vybraných násilných trestných činů, zabývám se souvislostmi mezi poruchami osobnosti a násilným chováním a vztahem mezi užíváním návykových látek a násilnou činností. Na konci kapitoly věnuji pozornost nebezpečnosti pachatele a motivaci k páchání trestné činnosti. V závěru mé práce se věnuji problematice delikvence mládeže. Vymezuji základní pojmy, uvádím možné příčiny delikvence a snažím se vystihnout základní charakteristiky delikventního jedince.

Abstract:

The theme of the bachelor?s work is the personality of a violent crime perpetrator. The aim of this work is to give theoretical analysis of the aforementioned topic. The work is divided into four chapters (violent crime, psychological profiling, personality of the offender, delinquent youth). In the chapter on violent crime I define important terms, mention some aspects of violence and at the end of the chapter I present interesting data from the statistics. In the second chapter I deal with the methods that allow under certain procedures to create a likely profile of an unknown perpetrator and so make it easier to capture him. The third chapter focuses on the issues of the offender?s personality. At the beginning of the chapter I define the basic concepts and mention the disciplines dealing with the personality of the offender. The following is an overview of theories and typologies of the perpetrator?s personality from history to the present. Furthermore, I present the characteristics of the offenders of selected violent crime, deal with the connections between personality disorders and violent behavior and the relationship between substance use and violent activities. At the end of the chapter I pay attention to the danger of the offender and the motivation to commit crime. At the end of my work I devote to the issue of delinquent youth. I delimit the basic concepts , mention the possible causes of the delinquency and I try to capture the essential characteristics of a delinquent individual.
