The aim of this bachelor thesis is to depict Steinbeck?s California. The thesis concentrates on the most important aspects that characterize Steinbeck?s California, namely the economic, environmental, and social aspects. Tato práce zachycuje Steinbeckův pohled na Kalifornii. Hlavní důraz je kladen na popis základních charakteristik typických pro Steinbeckovu Kalifornii. Především se jedná o hlediska ekonomická, o vztah k životnímu prostředí a o aspekty společenské.
