Tato diplomová práce si bere za cíl objasnit Augustinovy názory na lidskou přirozenost a svobodnou vůli. Je rozdělena celkem do tří kapitol. První kapitola je věnovaná Augustinovu intelektuálnímu a emocionálnímu vývoji - jeho cestě ke křesťanství přes hédonismus, platonismus a manicheismus. This thesis aims to clarify Augustine's views on human nature and free will. It is divided into three chapters. The first chapter is devoted to Augustine's intellectual and emotional development - to his route to Christianity through hedonism, Platonism and Manichaeism.
