Abstract:

Ačkoliv na počatku nebylo zcela jiste, jakym směrem se projekt bude vyvijet, cil byl jednoznačny. Přenest všechny přednosti a vyhody konceptu digitalnich materialů do vyroby elektroniky. Kladne vlastnosti tohoto konceptu mohou mit velky dopad na vyrobu DPS rovnou v několika různych aplikacich. V ramci projektu bylo zapotřebi provest vyzkum digitalnich materialů pro učely elektroniky hned v několika ohledech. Bylo nutne navrhnout a otestovat různe typy digitalnich materialů, ať už co do tvaru, velikosti, nebo způsobu jejich propojovani na mechanicke i elektricke bazi. Dale musel byt zhotoven algoritmus pro navrh kompozice jednotlivych bloků tak, aby tvořily požadovany obvod, a nasledně dalši algoritmus, ktery zprostředkoval samotne sestaveni bloků do kompletni funkčni DPS. Cilem rozhodně nebylo vytvořeni masove vyroby DPS pomoci tohoto konceptu, ale pouze poukazani na fakt, že tato alternativa existuje a že může nabizet celou řadu benefitů. Cely projekt byl postaven na miru již vytvořene magneticke platformě, na niž se digitalni materialy sestavuji. Aby bylo možne s digitalnimi materialy po platformě pohybovat, bylo nutne jednotlive stavebni dilky osadit permanentnimi magnety. Magnety ve spolupraci s přilepenymi kovovymi plišky navic zajišťuji jak mechanicke, tak elektricke spojeni jednotlivych bloků. Každy blok je vybaven určitou elektrickou součastkou, ktera může byt připojena několika různymi způsoby tak, aby z různych typů bloků bylo možne sestavit jakykoliv elektricky obvod. Nakonec byl vytvořen take algoritmus, ktery na zakladě požadovaneho elektrickeho obvodu vytvoři kompozici bloků takovou, aby vysledna DPS sestavena z jednotlivych bloků vykonavala požadovanou elektronickou funkci. Dalši algoritmus pote použiva pravě onu kompozici ke skutečnemu sestaveni obvodu. Dosažene vysledky lze považovat za uspokojive a jasně potvrdily, že ve vyzkumu v oblasti digitalnich materialů pro potřeby elektroniky se rozhodně vyplati dale pokračovat.

Abstract:

Although at the beginning it was not entirely certain in which direction the project would develop, the goal was clear. The goal was to transfer all the advantages and benefits of the concept of digital materials to the production of electronics. The positive features of this concept can have a major impact on PCB production in several different applications. For purpose of this project it was necessary to conduct research in the field of digital materials, starting with the shape, size, or method of connecting individual blocks and finally the creation of algorithms for their design and assembly. The aim was not to create mass production of PCBs using this concept, but only to point out the fact that this alternative exists and that it can offer several benefits. The whole project was created to fit an already existing magnetic platform, on which digital materials are assembled into a complete PCB. In order to move digital materials on the platform, it was necessary to equip the individual building blocks with permanent magnets. Magnets together with glued metal plates also ensure mechanical and electrical connection of individual blocks. Every block carries a certain electrical component. The electrical component can be connected to one block in many different ways, and it is thus possible to create any electrical circuit. Finally, an algorithm which obtains the composition of the blocks was designed. Another designed algorithm uses the composition from the first algorithm to assemble the circuit with the blocks. The achieved results can be considered satisfactory, as all points of the assignment were met. And the results clearly confirmed that it is definitely worth continuing research into the field of digital materials used in electronics.
