Ačkoliv na počatku nebylo zcela jiste, jakym směrem se projekt bude vyvijet, cil byl jednoznačny. Přenest všechny přednosti a vyhody konceptu digitalnich materialů do vyroby elektroniky. Kladne vlastnosti tohoto konceptu mohou mit velky dopad na vyrobu DPS rovnou v několika různych aplikacich.
